THE POSITION

Based at Ingleburn NSW, this is a fulltime 12-month Internship with the Research and Development team of the Henkel consumer brands division. This is a hands-on opportunity to accelerate and consolidate your learning and industry knowledge.



YOUR ROLE

Fulltime 12-month internship based in Ingleburn NSW with the Research and Development team of the Henkel Consumer Brands Division
Take ownership of 3-5 projects during the internship with a focus on project management, research, analysis, and concept/product/packaging development
Support basic lab processes such as sample handling and analysis, lab equipment/tool calibration, collection of technical data (e.g. SDS), records maintenance, report preparation and lab housekeeping
Contribute to our Sustainability strategy and targets
Contribute as a team member
Be accountable for safety of self and others, develops and implements safe products and processes.


YOUR SKILLS



Degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering with major in Material Science and/or Sustainability or comparable degree
Previous experience in lab environment is highly regarded
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and eager to learn, and passionate about sustainability and innovation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office with Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Table, V-Lookup) highly desirable
Self-motivated, creative, and an open-minded team-player able to work independently
Able to critically analyse situations and provide insightful observations and improvements
Able to manage workload, meet project deadlines and perform tasks in an organised manner
