Job Description
Based in Western Sydney, our client is a specialist in the development and manufacture of a range of construction materials and undertakes projects designed to provide innovative solutions for specific applications. The QC Technician will ensure all products conform to specification, by providing an effective quality control service.
Responsibilities include:
Carrying out QC testing of incoming raw material and finished products
Conducting production process checks with an emphasis on continuous monitoring of production quality standards
Manage and maintain electronic database to ensure accurate records of test results are kept
Follow up on customer complaints where required
Calibration of laboratory instruments daily and maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the lab
Skills & Experience:
TAFE certification or Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or related
Experience working within a fast-paced laboratory
Knowledge of analytical techniques and quality control requirements
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong computer literacy and proven ability to keep diligent records
Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects
