Job Description
Headquartered within Sydney Australia, AusDiagnostics is a leading manufacturer of a range of molecular diagnostic instrumentation and reagents servicing human, veterinary and food diagnostics markets. AusDiagnostics is seeking a Production Operator to join the production team to strive for excellence in our manufacturing processes. This role will report directly to the Head of Production and involve collaborative work from all branches of the company.
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in a casual capacity, with the potential for full-time advancement following a successful 6-month probationary period. This casual role offers guaranteed full-time working hours, consisting of 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to and maintain quality and safety procedures;
Help to maintain inventory stock levels;
Perform in-process checks on raw materials and reagents;
Create batches of products using a variety of automated and manual liquid handling laboratory techniques;
Operate liquid handling robotics;
Package and label medical devices;
Follow GLP housekeeping procedures;
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques;
Work well within a highly collaborative environment with a diverse group of individuals;
Highly organized - ability to multi-task and work with competing priorities;
Effective communication and interpersonal skills - able to liaise with others;
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Previous work experience within a laboratory setting including using equipment such as pipettes and weigh balances;
Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS);
Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment
