Job Description
The QGCDG aims to foster a thriving digital economy in Queensland and provide more responsive, simple and effective services for all Queenslanders. We offer strategic and policy leadership for Queensland Government in digital, customer experience and service delivery, supporting agencies with design management, capability development, corporate shared services, and customer service channels. Business Services comprises the corporate service functions of finance, people and culture, procurement and digital governance across QGCDG.

Reporting to the Principal Human Resources Consultant, the HR Consultant provides strategic and operational HR support across various areas, including legislation, recruitment, employee relations, and workforce planning. You conduct research to develop policies, resolve complex employee issues through case management, lead HR projects, and collaborate with team members to foster a positive workplace culture.
Your work extends beyond your immediate role, contributing to a more connected, accessible, and inclusive Queensland.
Who You Are:
You are a strategic thinker with the ability to improve HR processes and practices to meet organisational goals. You have proven experience delivering a wide range of HR and ER services in challenging environments with conflicting priorities. You excel in building strong relationships and collaborating with team members, clients and HR professionals. Your communication skills, both written and oral, allow you to consult, liaise, and negotiate confidently. You effectively utilise individual and team capabilities while remaining adaptable to changing client needs.
