Job description
An Australian-based fintech client is seeking a CMS Manager (Full-time, Remote). In this role, you will manage content on the Contentful platform. Your main tasks will include uploading and managing significant content while ensuring compliance with guidelines and maintaining high accuracy, consistency, and quality. As the CMS Manager, you will oversee content management processes, which are crucial in ensuring the seamless delivery of the organization's digital content and meeting the desired standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Upload and manage a substantial volume of content on Contentful and the client's website (approximately 40-60 pieces per month), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established guidelines.
• Create and format content using HTML, particularly for creating tables and other structured elements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including content creators and designers, to gather and upload content assets.
• Ensure content is optimized for search engines and user experience, following best practices for metadata, tags, and keywords.
• Manage CMS changes/requests and conduct quality checks to verify content integrity, troubleshoot issues, and resolve discrepancies.
• Work closely with the development team to address technical content management and integration challenges.
• Maintain and update content calendars, tracking the status of content uploads and ensuring content publishing is on schedule.
• Provide training and support to content creators on CMS usage and best practices for content uploading.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in CMS management and content uploading.
REQUIREMENTES
• Diploma in marketing or relevant degree.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with CMS platforms is required, with a preference for Contentful experience.
• Preferably with experience with WordPress or Squarespace.
• Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS, particularly for creating tables and formatting content.
• Familiarity with content uploading processes and best practices, including metadata, tags, and search engine optimization.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills to manage a high volume of content uploads.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to address any technical issues related to content management.
• Familiarity with SEO, content calendars and project management tools is an added advantage.
