Job Description

• Position Summary :

The Hospital Administrator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hospital. This includes managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, maintaining financial performance, and improving patient care and services.
• Key Responsibilities :
• 1. Operations Management :

- Oversee the daily operations of the hospital to ensure efficient functioning.

- Implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure high standards of care and operational efficiency.
• 2. Financial Management :

- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial stability and cost-effectiveness.

- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve revenue and reduce costs.
• 3. Human Resources :

- Recruit, train, and manage hospital staff.

- Address employee issues, performance management, and professional development.
• 4. Regulatory Compliance :

- Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.

- Manage risk and safety procedures to maintain high standards of patient care and hospital safety.
• 5. Strategic Planning :

- Develop and implement long-term strategic goals for the hospital.

- Analyze market trends and patient needs to drive improvements and growth.
• 6. Patient Care :

- Work with medical and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

- Address patient and family concerns and complaints, ensuring a positive experience.
• 7. Stakeholder Communication :

- Communicate effectively with board members, physicians, staff, and the community.

- Represent the hospital in public relations and community outreach activities.
• Qualifications :
• Education : Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, or equivalent) is often preferred.
• Experience : Several years of experience in healthcare administration or a related field, with a proven track record of management and leadership.
• Skills :

- Strong leadership and management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.

- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
