About Us:

Blanchards Law is a leading family law practice dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Assistant Legal Cashier to join our team. This role is crucial to maintaining the smooth financial operations of our firm, ensuring accuracy in our accounts, and supporting our legal team in delivering top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:
• Accurately input client receipts and disbursements into our CRM system.
• Code and input office expenses, manage all credit card transactions, and ensure all backup documentation is in place.
• Handle staff expense management, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
• Assist with month-end billing, including preparing billing emails and ensuring proper documentation is saved to client files.
• Support the collation of data for management accounting purposes.
• Oversee debtor control, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.

Administrative & Legal Support:
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the legal team, including paralegal administrative assistance and the effective management of the CRM system.
• Support the business generation process, including handling new business enquiries, answering phones, and assisting with client communications and assisting with case progression updates.
• Offer additional support with firm-wide projects.

Qualifications:
• Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• AAT qualification or similar accounting certification is beneficial but not required.
• Experience with legal accounts is a plus; however, training will be provided for a logical, highly organised individual with excellent written English and numerical skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a willingness to take on additional tasks to support the practice.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is desirable.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position, requiring availability Monday to Friday.
