Are you a warehouse operative looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and help drive our operation forward? We are currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent, Warehouse Operative to join us at our team in Sherburn in Elmet, supporting our customer, Sainsbury’s.
From receiving and storing products to picking, packing, and dispatching orders, you could be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations. This role is mainly based in the ambient chamber, therefore flexibility to cover both is required.
You will be working on an ‘any 5 days out of 7’ pattern, covering the hours of 22:00-06:00.
Pay, benefits and more:
As a Warehouse Operative you’ll get:
• An hourly rate of £13.44
• An additional £2.65 for any hours worked after 18:00
• An additional £1.01 for any hours worked on Saturdays
• An additional £1.5+ for any hours worked on Sundays
• A fixed overtime rate of £18.5+ per hour
• An additional £80.00 per month freezer allowance (applicable to freezer chamber only)
• Holiday pay and workplace pension

What you’ll do on a typical day:
• Picking and packing orders from a wide range of products using wristwatch picking system
• Get involved in other warehouse-related duties that may arise during your shift
• Comply with all health and safety regulations within the warehouse
• Operate MHE equipment where required – full training provided!
What you need to succeed at GXO:
• Willingness to work in a multitemperature environment
• Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous
• Flexibility and a ‘can do’, right first time and passionate approach
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting, pulling, and pushing
