Revenue Officer

The Package: $1,331.02 - $1,470.74 gross per week + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 8 of the QPRC Salary System 2026) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2026-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

Full time – 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements will be considered for this role.

The Revenue team are looking for an enthusiastic professional eager to make a real difference, ensuring the local community have access to essential services like waste management, and community programs as well as maintain infrastructure and making our community a beautiful place to live. In this role you will:

Be responsible for providing accurate information to customers about rates and water issues.
Record, check and update data in the property and rating system,
Be responsible for issuing rating certificates and insuring accuracy of billing information and customer data.
Have an understanding around rating provisions of the local Government act and QPRC Statement of Revenue Policy.
We are looking for someone who:

Holds relevant qualifications and/or experience in finance or a similar role.
Possess high-level of customer service and communication skills to engage with a diverse range of customers.
Has the ability to read, interpret and understand relevant legislation and Council policies.
