Exclusive opportunity now available for a Dispensing Optician to join a very well-established and reputable Optical practice based in Whiteley on a full-time basis.

Having experienced a continual demand for their services, this successful Optical practice is now looking to add to their team to ensure that patient service and satisfaction is kept at a high standard

While the role is for a Dispensing Optician, there is also the opportunity to take on a management role if the candidate wanted and enter the practice in a senior role

The practice has a phenomenal reputation within the community it serves and has owners who place a focus on the clinical side of Optics, while a further emphasis is placed upon staff satisfaction, well-being and personal development

In return for your time is a competitive salary which is negotiable depending upon experience and the seniority of the position taken, GOC and ABDO fees paid amongst more

Key Duties
• Full-time role working 4 longer days, Monday-Sunday where your working days can be tailored to your preference. Weekend work is required but you can expect 1 in 5 weekends off
• Fantastic opportunity to work a 4 day week ensuring a great work life balance is adhered to with typical working hours of 8am - 6:30pm with a 1 hour lunch break
• You will provide excellent customer service alongside dispensing, fitting and further DO duties
• Working with a wide range of frames and lenses to cater to a diverse patient demographic
• Modern practice equipped with the latest equipment to deliver the highest levels of patient care
• Additional opportunity for further development including professional courses/qualifications

Package And Benefits
• A very competitive basic salary of c. £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience with potential to earn bonus based on KPI's reached c. £1,800- £2,500 to reward you for your efforts

Key Skills, Qualifications And Client Requirements
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Obtain a great work ethic and willingness to ensure patient needs are met day in day out in a fast paced environment
• GOC registered and a fully qualified Dispensing Optician
• Will suit a Dispensing Optician with 2 or more years experience who thrives in a supportive team with good time management
