Game Developer|Software Engineer

Job description
Duties:
• Develop and implement game features using C++, C#, or other programming languages, ensuring smooth gameplay and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the design team to integrate Eastern and Western cultural elements, particularly for projects targeting the Far East market.
• Provide insights on Western game concepts and market trends to assist international clients, especially those from the Far East, in adapting their products for global success.
• Help Far East companies enter European and global markets, leveraging your cross-cultural expertise.
• Optimize the development pipeline, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
• Conduct game testing and debugging, ensuring stability and quality.
• Work with a multilingual team to ensure smooth project execution and provide technical guidance when needed.

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + incentive/bonus

Skill, experience and qualification required:

Language: Proficiency in multiple languages, with a strong preference for candidates who are fluent in both English and an Asian language (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean).

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Qualifications: Professional qualifications in software development or game development are preferred.

Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in game development or software development, with AAA game development experience preferred.

Skills: Proficient in C++, C#, or other programming languages, with project management experience.

Proven experience as a Game Developer or Game Designer in a multicultural environment.Deep understanding of both Western and Asian gaming cultures and markets.

Other: Passionate about the gaming industry, willing to accept challenges, and continuously learn new technologies.

Willingness to travel internationally as needed to support the company’s business expansion in European and Far East markets.
