Position: Audio Visual Electronics Technician

Location: Rochdale

Salary: £28,500

Hours: Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, with an early finish at 11 am on Fridays.

Are you an experienced electronics technician who would enjoy working on Audio Visual systems? KO2's client are looking for a proactive and skilled Audio Visual Lead Technician to join a leading electronics repair business in Rochdale. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on hands-on work and has the leadership qualities to guide a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise: Repair and maintain a variety of touch screen systems used in university and educational settings. This includes motherboard repairs, power supply replacements, fault finding down to board level, and uploading new software.

Product Variety: Work on up to 15 different products, handling tasks like replacing LED backlights and performing modular repairs.

Leadership: Lead and motivate a small team, manage shop floor priorities, and ensure that customer deadlines and expectations are met.

Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction throughout the repair process.What We're Looking For:

A solid background in electronics, particularly in Audio Visual systems.

Hands-on experience in fault finding, repairs, and software updates.

A proactive individual with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage both technical work and team dynamics.
