Region or Country Legal is responsible for all business units and all associated locations of Valeo in India. This includes validation of customer agreements, ensure valid agreement entered with all suppliers and manage legal litigations if any with suppliers / customers.

The position requires collaboration skills and influencing skills as this role will engage at all levels of internal and external organizations, including relations with officials.
• Validation and finalisation of Customer agreement in-line with guidance and expectation of Group Legal
• Responsible to ensure the validity of all customer agreement and in case expiry initiate extension and complete ontime renewal
• Supplier agreement management which includes enter the agreement with supplier as per Valeo purchasing guideline, ensure monitoring and on-time renewal of supplier agreement
• Supplier Tool agreement management which includes enter the agreement with supplier as per Valeo purchasing guideline, ensure monitoring and on-time renewal of supplier agreement
• Litigation management for all the commercial transaction with Customer and Supplier
• Risk management - Coach team members at all functions at ND/SSC and Site by explaining the importance of legal implications on the commercial transaction and improve the legal standard.
• Contribute to Group Ethics & Compliance program by applying and respecting code of Ethics and Valeo’s policies.
