HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver

HGV Driver Required - Wincanton

Due to continued company growth, we are looking for LGV Class 2 Vacuum Tanker Drivers to join our team. We are a nationwide company and our work involves the removal and disposal of wet waste, this is mainly of a commercial nature, but may also be of sewage.

Job Description:

• Drive and operate vacuum tankers

• Undertake vehicle checks at the start of each shift and report any defects

• Complete Waste Transfer Notes after each job

• Keep vehicles and equipment in good clean order

• Wear PPE issued and ensure it is in good condition and free from defects

• Undertake ad-hoc duties when your vehicle is off the road, or assist other team members

• Good communication with customers

• Must be prepared to travel and be part of the on-call rota for weekend works.

Qualifications required:

• LGV Class 2 licence required

• Driver CPC required

Experience required:

• Driving and Operating vacuum tankers

• Good geographical knowledge would be beneficial

• Drainage knowledge

• HPWJ experience
