Area General Manager – Western Australia

An extraordinary opportunity for a professional and experienced leader, to join our Western Team as Area General Manager based at Club Wyndham Dunsborough. This rare opportunity is suited to a dynamic, driven and customer experience focused leader, who thrives on creating truly memorable experiences.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage and guide operations across a portfolio of properties based and managing Club Wyndham Dunsborough
Club Wyndham Dunsborough
Club Wyndham Perth
The Sebel Busselton
Grand Mercure Mercure Basildene Manor
The Sebel Sawn Valley The Vines
Be responsible for leading and developing teams in all aspect of the resort operations
Be instrumental in driving changes and improvements in performance and implementing strategies in line with business objectives
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, across the portfolio
Maintain excellent product and service standards whilst maximizing revenue and balancing expenses
Focus on recruiting and developing a team that is engaged in driving a positive customer sentiment
Act as a liaison within the local community, representing Travel + Leisure Co. and fostering community engagement
What we are looking for in our Area General Manager

Extensive experience as a General Manager, highlighting your comprehensive understanding of various departments and your adeptness in stakeholder management
You create environments where your team are encouraged and motivated to be their true self each day
Display confidence in your ability to cultivate strong relationships, effectively address challenging situations, and implement solutions that enhance service quality
Experience and capability to drive financial growth through skillful & thoughtful strategy
Comprehension of the key metrics that impact and grow hospitality businesses, using this knowledge to drive top line revenue and motivating your team to do the same
Ability to formulate an overall operational strategy, whilst overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Club Wyndham Dunsborough and all departments
Strong background in management of facility and assets
About Club Wyndham Dunsborough

Club Wyndham Dunsborough Resort is an outstanding resort that has just completed a $5 million dollar refurbishment of the guest rooms. Nestled between the towns Busselton and Dunsborough, Western Australia, this slice of paradise is beach front, and is the gateway to the Margaret River wine trail. The resort offers a year-round heated swimming pool, Spa, Tennis Court, BBQ area, Toby’s Restaurant and Bar, Wedding Chapel, Conference rooms and 83 beautifully appointed Hotel and 1- and 2-Bedroom Apartments, surrounded by magnificent gardens and immaculately manicured lawns
