The Pier Hotel in Esperance is on the lookout for a full time Duty Manager to help build our team.

Regular weekend availability is required but we offer a flexible roster with an emphasis on our staff’s work life balance.

We are looking for an energetic, innovative, great communicator who is able to work under pressure. Whilst making sure our client needs are catered for in a friendly and professional manner. The successful applicant must be able to guide employees to work well as a functioning team. Therefore, the ideal candidate will be a team player and an effective leader, able to set examples and foster a climate of cooperation. The applicant must also love country life. Responsibilities

- Supervise work at all levels

- Plan promotions and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model.

- Develop and implement an intuitive and effective marketing strategy to promote the hotels restaurant services

- Communicate with customers when appropriate (welcome them in the facility, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information etc.)

- Record and report maintenance issues, shortage in staff or equipment, renovation etc.

- Excellent Customer Service

- Inspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards

- Understanding of all food handling and safety practices and relevant laws and guidelines

- Demonstrate aptitude in decision making and solving

- Outstanding leadership skills and great attention to detail

Must have current RSA, Food Handlers course & Approved managers Red Card.

Must also be willing to obtain TAB Certification

Pay: $1,150.00 – $1,350.00 per week
