Are you a psychologist who is passionate about providing services with a focus on supporting students?

About the team:
Be part of a multidisciplinary allied health and special education professional team creating positive change and strengthening the link between wellbeing, inclusion and engagement to support our kids.

About the role:
Senior Psychologists work and provide professional leadership in a Multi-Tiered System of Support framework and utilise psychological expertise in education to build capacity of educators to facilitate access, participation and to maximise educational outcomes for students.

Consultation, comprehensive assessment, treatment planning and short-term therapeutic interventions are provided to students with complex and challenging behaviour concerns that are having a direct impact on educational outcomes.

To be successful you will need a degree in psychology and registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Corporate-based conditions apply to this position. The applicant must hold or be able to obtain a Working with Children Notice Clearance and an NT driver’s licence. Visits to remote schools may necessitate travel by four-wheel drive vehicle on unsealed roads or light aircraft and include overnight stays in remote communities of up to four days. Four-wheel drive training will be provided by the NT Department of Education.
