Qualification : LL.M / LL.B from reputed Institution in India.

Experience:

At least 15 years, with a large manufacturing corporate based in India.

Skills:
Sound commercial acumen;
Well versed with commercial laws, adept at handling litigations;

Ability to handle / take through complex transactions independently; and
Excellent communication, drafting and negotiations skills;

Key Responsibilities include :

Drafting, vetting and negotiating Business Agreements, Supply Chain Documentation, Distribution, Agency and Franchisee Contracts, Structuring transactions as per business requirements;

Initiate / Defend and pursue Legal Proceedings including briefing external Legal Counsels, prepare Case for Opinions, settling Plaints, Written Statements, Writ Petitions etc. Proficiency in handling recovery proceedings matters.

Experience in handling Counterfeit matters, search and seizure actions under IPR laws and criminal proceedings.

Undertake proactive measures to pre-empt and mitigate legal risks, set-up relevant frame works, policies, and review implementation with the leadership team; and

Support in policy advocacy, providing inputs / avise on legal and regulatory matters to various functions.
