About The Role

We are currently recruiting a qualified English Teacher to work in secondary schools across Tamworth. This role involves delivering engaging and thought-provoking English lessons, tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with competitive daily rates, depending on your experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality English lessons that align with the national curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
• Track and support students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and intervention where necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.
• Contribute to the school community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of a English Teacher you will:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Science Education.
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Science
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
• A suitable qualification to teach English i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
