Our client is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence / SQL Developer to create, maintain, and optimize SQL reports using SSRS and PowerBI. The role involves analyzing source data (PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server), writing complex SQL, and converting PowerBI reports to SSRS.

You should have strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering accurate and efficient code. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while handling various tasks and supporting project-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with leadership and team members to ensure compliance and duties are met.
• Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports; convert PowerBI reports to SSRS.
• Update reports in line with system and data upgrades; ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in upgrading the SSRS environment and analyze data to support projects.
• Maintain software, databases, and user access controls.
• Become proficient in data structures and recommend report improvements.
• Provide training and support to team members.

Qualifications / Experience
• 5 years of relevant experience in IT or Computer Science.
• Strong skills in database architecture, design, and complex SQL.
• Experience with Microsoft SSRS, PowerBI, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and query performance tuning skills.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry, especially asset finance.
• Experience with Alfa, Sage X3, or similar software preferred.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
