Who Will You Be Working With?

You will be working with a dedicated team of engineers and industry professionals in our Warwick Farm office. Reporting directly to the Team Leader, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues to enhance product design and manufacturing processes.

Our client specialises in the design, manufacture, and supply of environmental monitoring instruments and systems. They pride themselves on delivering reliable, high-quality products that exceed our customers' expectations and contribute to a sustainable future.

What Are the Benefits?

Option for work from home
Standard working hours: Monday to Thursday, +:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an early finish at 1:00 PM on Fridays

What Will You Be Doing?

Assist in mechanical design projects, including concept development, drafting, and prototyping.
Collaborate with the team leader and other engineers to optimize product design for manufacturing.
Conduct research and development activities to improve existing products and explore new technologies.
Support manufacturing processes and troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the engineering team.

What Do You Need?

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2-3 years of experience in mechanical design.
Basic to intermediate proficiency in Solidworks or similar CAD software.
Experience in manufacturing processes is desirable.
Strong mechanical design skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Hands-on approach with a willingness to get involved in practical tasks.
Curiosity and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
Ability to challenge assumptions and seek innovative solutions.
Adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Proactive initiative in identifying opportunities for improvement.
