Roles & Responsibilities

1.Diagnosis and Troubleshooting:
• Identify Issues: Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles.
• Troubleshoot Problems: Analyze symptoms and test components to determine the root cause of issues.

2. Repair and Maintenance:
• Perform Repairs: Fix or replace faulty parts such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance tasks like oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks to prevent issues.

3. Component Replacement:
• Install New Parts: Replace worn-out or damaged parts with new components, ensuring proper installation and alignment.
• Upgrade Systems: Install aftermarket parts or upgrades as requested by customers.

4. Vehicle Inspections:
• Conduct Inspections: Perform thorough inspections to assess the condition of vehicles and ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
• Report Findings: Provide detailed reports on the condition of vehicles and recommended repairs or replacements.

5. Customer Interaction:
• Communicate with Customers: Discuss issues, repair options, and costs with vehicle owners, offering clear explanations and recommendations.
• Provide Estimates: Prepare cost estimates for repairs and maintenance services.

6. Record Keeping:
• Document Work: Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used, as well as customer interactions.
• Maintain Inventory: Track parts and tools inventory, ordering supplies as needed.

7. Safety and Compliance:
• Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety standards and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure Compliance: Follow industry regulations and standards related to vehicle repairs and maintenance.

8. Technical Skills and Knowledge:
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies, repair techniques, and industry trends.
• Use Diagnostic Equipment: Operate diagnostic tools and software to accurately diagnose and address vehicle issues.

• Work with Team: Collaborate with other technicians and staff to complete complex repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors: Work closely with service advisors to ensure accurate communication and service delivery.

10. Problem Solving:
• Innovative Solutions: Apply creative problem-solving skills to resolve unique or complex vehicle issues.
• Adapt to Challenges: Adjust approaches based on varying vehicle makes, models, and technologies.
