Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant/ Manager with 5+ years of Australian public practice experience to join our team. You will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring our accounting staff, overseeing financial operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

Preparation of Financial Statements & Income Tax Returns.
Tax compliance for all entities including Trusts, Companies, SMSF and Partnerships.
FBT, BAS and IAS preparation.
Preparing strategic advice for client meetings.
Identifying potential opportunities, researching, and solving complex tax issues and being able to communicate that advice to partners/clients.
Identifying and implementing new technologies that can streamline workflow and improve our client's businesses.
Tax planning ability for High-Net-Worth Clients.
Able to provide SMSF strategies to assist financial planners in preparing formal advice documents.
Must be able to use MYOB, Xero, Intuit, Reckon, BGL and Microsoft Office.
