Due to rapid growth and new expansion opportunities we have a requirement for a new role at our branch in Lymington.

Warehouse Operative

A Warehouse Operative typically performs tasks related to the storage and movement of goods, ensuring efficient and accurate processing. Here’s a breakdown of the responsibilities and skills required:

Key Activities:
• Order Picking: Efficiently and accurately pick customer and workshop orders . Handle all parts carefully and report any issues.
• Processing Special Orders: Receive and process special orders to support customer requirements.
• Stock Checks: Assist the warehouse supervisor with regular inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy.
• Returns Processing: Manage and process returns from both customers and suppliers in a timely manner.
• Dispatches: Pack and ship customer orders both UK and International ensuring the correct labelling and requirements are met.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Skills Required:
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication to relay information clearly.
• Accuracy in Record-Keeping: Ability to record information correctly and maintain attention to detail.
• Computer Skills: Good proficiency in using computers, with the willingness to learn any specific warehouse management software used.

This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a high standard of work.
