Description:

The Role

Medline's Sterile Procedure Trays (SPTs) come complete with everything our customer's need for a surgical procedure. They are compact, ready to use and customized for every customer. We have a vacancy for someone to join the team that will support the sourcing of new and existing components which go in these packs. This fast paced and unique role will be different every day, however the core responsibilities are:

Source new items from both existing and new vendors, coordinating samples, pricing, specification, lead times, forecasting requirements and other relevant information from local vendors.
Support the sourcing team in identifying alternative sources of supply of components
Troubleshoot any supplier issues relating to raw materials, including working with the finance team to resolve any price discrepancies
Problem solve customer component requests by thinking creatively outside the box
Initiate the setup of new suppliers in the system, review, recalculate and maintain pricing within the database
Work closely with the Regulatory Affairs team when onboarding a new vendor/component
