Job Description

Occupational Therapist role with an across-the-lifespan caseload, in a community-based setting, focusing on work-life balance with low KPIs.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive therapy services to individuals with disabilities, with a primary focus on autism, motor neuron issues, intellectual disabilities occasionally post-amputations, acquired brain injuries, and post-stroke rehabilitation.

The Role

Conduct assessments and develop individualised therapy plans for clients.
Provide direct therapy interventions to individuals with disabilities.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including speech therapists, PBS specialists, physiotherapists, and therapy administrative assistants to ensure holistic and integrated care.
Deliver therapy services in community settings such as schools, homes, and other community locations.
Conduct remote therapy sessions via video conferences as needed.
Support clients in developing social skills, functional abilities, and independence.
Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
Complete necessary documentation and reports, including NDIS reports.

Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
Full APHRA registration
Working With Children Check
National Police Check
Driver's license and own car
