Contracts & Procurement Specialist to take the lead role on 2 exciting new mining projects from detailed design through to construction.



Duties:

Act as sole C&P representative on 2 x major projects working as part of a cross functional (project controls, engineering, project management, construction management) project team

Develop souring strategies to support project execution plans

Tender, negotiate, award various forms of contracts across the project lifecycle (design, procurement, construction)

Support the contracts and procurement function to deliver on company-wide performance expectations



Qualifications:

Extensive experience in providing procurement and contract management services within capital projects in the Mining and Resources industry, large construction projects or similar.



To be successful in the role you will have well established communication and interpersonal skills along with a proactive and innovative approach to problem solving. We are looking for a collaborative team player with a drive for achievement and a commitment to ethical and high-quality work practices.

In return you will be given the opportunity to work in a highly skilled team with a supportive manager. This role offers the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week, 2 days in the client office (SoR) and a day or so a week on site.
