Job description
Unique chef position in a busy high quality deli (The Goring Grocer) with sociable daytime hours:

7am-1pm 4 set days per week including Saturday

.
Responsibilities include daily preparation and cooking of high quality salads, deli meals, sweet and savoury pastries and cakes, reporting to full time head chef. All our food is made from scratch!
NVQ level 2 in catering

preferred and or experience of cooking in a professional kitchen with good knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
Would suit young chef or someone seeking sociable hours and wanting to gain wide cooking experience in a busy open kitchen.
We are a friendly , hardworking team in a beautiful Thamesside village, walking distance to railway station ( regular 12 minute train service to Reading and Didcot). Free car parking also available.
