Purpose of the job

Troubleshooting, maintenance, start-up, rental and revision for and on Trane equipment.

Responsibilities

directed by planning
performing (preventive) maintenance on Trane equipment
independent troubleshooting of Trane equipment
start-up of Trane equipment
providing planned breakdown services
performing assembly work
report to the Service department on the progress and quality of the work
keeping correct administration, such as inspection lists, work orders, time sheets
creating leads for Maintenance, Repairs (TBA), Rental and Parts
supporting fellow Service Technicians and customers
gaining and updating knowledge of technology and equipment
keeping the stock of materials in the service van complete
management of tools and the service vehicle
perform electrical works & upgrades
assist with rental chiller selection and quoting
manage rental chiller stock

Regulations and safety

responsible for compliance with our EHS requirements
responsible for maintaining knowledge and compliance with national guidelines and legislation in the field of HVAC

Authorizations

creating leads for Maintenance, Repairs (TBA), Rental and Parts
troubleshooting, maintenance, start-up and revision for and on Trane equipment on behalf of the Deployer(s)

Job Requirements

working and thinking level to execute this role
English in speech and writing
excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
broad technical knowledge in the field of air treatment, cooling, measuring and control technology of both Trane equipment and peripherals
full-time employment
valid driver’s license
Refrigerant handling license
Non restricted electrical license
