Electronic Test Technician

Job description
An opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Test Technician to join a UK company manufacturing
leading technology protection relays and medium voltage circuit breakers often for highly critical
electrical power systems across a global client base.

As Electronic Test Technician, you will be responsible for:

Inspecting and testing PCBs after manufacturing and also assembling final products.
Reporting to the Validation Manager and working closely with both the production and
product test teams.
We’re looking for an Electronic Test Technician with:

A strong technical background and one with working knowledge of optical inspection and
testing activities.
The ability to work on written instructions and bills of materials.
Previous experience within an electronics/manufacturing environment is essential.
Knowledge of the tools used in an electronics environment.
The ability to demonstrate knowledge of PCB production processes.
Familiarity with automatic optical inspection programming and operation.
Familiarity with the Omicron CMC device would be advantageous.
You will be working 37.5 hours per week, onsite in Manchester.
