Propelum is looking for a highly innovative Senior Remote Sensing & GIS Professional to join our client. We need you build on your GIS skills to understand and absorb new concepts, acquire skills on new tech and contribute to a dynamic team working on interesting projects.



Key responsibilities include:

Utilizing new, industry leading AI and GIS data platforms to deliver solutions and outcomes for customers.
Undertake analysis of geospatial data from multiple sources, including very high-resolution satellite imagery & aerial photography
Collaborate with our team to develop new solutions & new applications of our proprietary technologies
Work across diverse and professionally challenging industries in Energy, Defence, environmental monitoring, urban planning, agriculture and natural resource management
Use of GIS and remote sensing software for analysis and output generation of geospatial products
Attend & participate in key Industry forums with colleagues
Support Geospatial Intelligence in various markets


Key skills and attributes

Working knowledge of disciplines including satellite imagery, GIS, programming languages, social media and open source data
Understanding of geospatial systems and technologies
Proven track record for successful project management
Excellent attention to detail, self-motivation, initiative and capacity to learn the tech and from your colleagues.
Good communication skills, a mature attitude and good interpersonal and client service skill.


Qualifications and Experience

Must have completed a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant experience
This is a full time role.
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a GISsimilar role.
Work Arrangement: Onsite, Office, and Work From Home (WFH) - based in Canberra
