Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent
8+ years of progressive experience developing software applications or HFT infrastructure
Experience with object oriented design and software development in a high-performance / high throughput environment using C++ (preferably in a Linux environment) is required
Finance experience is ideal but the firm are also keen to see strong out of industry candidates,

Job description
Working on behalf of a prop trading firm looking to hire into their Philadelphia office. The firm are looking to add a C++ Software Developer to join a team responsible for designing and developing low-latency trading systems for their Index Desk. As a developer on this team, you will work closely with some of the best traders, researchers and developers in the business. You will largely contributing to improving trading capabilities by providing innovative, scalable and stable systems.

In this role you will:
• Make an impact on a successful desk working directly with traders.
