Retail Store Manager

Location: Foodland Darlington, South Australia

Position: Full-Time Retail Manager

Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Sunday

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per annum plus Super

Foodland Darlington is a premier supermarket recognized for our wide range of top-quality products and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Manager to lead our dynamic team and oversee the daily operations of our store.

What You'll Do

Assess and determine product selections, manage inventory levels, and uphold service quality standards.

Develop and implement purchasing plans and marketing strategies, including pricing products competitively to attract customers.

Spearhead promotional campaigns to boost the visibility and sales of our store’s offerings.

Assist customers with their purchases by providing expert product recommendations and guidance on product usage.

Maintain accurate records of inventory and oversee financial transactions to ensure transparency and accuracy.

Handle the store's financial planning and budgeting to ensure profitability and sustainability.

Recruit, train, and manage a team of store staff to ensure a positive and productive work environment.

Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations to provide a safe shopping and working environment.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma.

Alternatively, a minimum of three years of relevant experience may substitute formal qualifications.

Experience

At least three years of experience in retail management or a similar role.
