Job Description:
• Gather and analyze information and trends to ensure our dress collection is both fashionable and relevant to our customers.
• Research both international and local fashion trends to assist buyers in curating the best dress collection for our clientele.
• Collaborate with buyers to develop the latest and most relevant prints, including creating CADs for suppliers.
• Prepare tech packs for suppliers.
• Partner with buyers to develop styling brands, create brand concepts, and align product development accordingly.
• Oversee development and sampling processes.
Requirements:
• 5-7+ years of experience in fashion, with a background in dress design, preferably with an international brand.
• International experience, including working with suppliers in China and Bangladesh.
• Strong knowledge of current trends, including emerging trends, silhouettes, runway styles, and local and international markets.
• Proven experience in developing collections and creating mood boards.
• Proficiency in design tools.
• Experience in creating tech packs and sketches.
• Ability to design prints and generate CADs.
• Solid understanding of patternmaking, dress construction, fabric, and materials.
• Experience with fitting processes.
