Python Developer

ADA is seeking a Python Developer with 7+ years of experience to join a SaaS team to help in developing high-performance systems and architecture.

The SME’s product lies in the Finance/AI space, with plans to scale up over the next 12 months, as they build their London-based team. An ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in financial services/SaaS, Python (libraries like matplotlib, Pandas, etc), and AWS/GCP.

You’ll be joining a small, but highly skilled and intelligent team of Developers reporting in to the CTO.

This position is based in London with 2/3 days expected in the office per week, paying circa £110k + Bonus, Shares, and Training budget.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and optimize Python-based applications
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts to implement trading algorithms
• Contribute to codebase including design, testing, and support of a major internal platform
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions
• Carry out document systems and processes
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, etc.
• 7+ years in Python and experience working with libraries like PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, QuantLib, etc
• Experience across the full SDLC
• Experience with other programming languages such as C or JavaScript
• Experience with AWS or GCP
