We are looking for a skilled Cushion Worker to join our team. The Cushion Worker will be responsible for assembling, stitching, and finishing cushions for various types of furniture, ensuring high quality and precision in all tasks. The ideal candidate should have experience in upholstery work, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cushion Assembly: Measure, cut, and assemble cushion materials (foam, fabric, padding) according to specifications.

- Stitching and Sewing: Sew cushion covers using various techniques, ensuring strong seams and neat finishes.

- Fabric Cutting: Accurately cut fabric and other materials to match patterns or design specifications.

- Filling and Stuffing: Fill cushions with foam, batting, or other stuffing materials, ensuring even distribution and desired firmness.

- Quality Control: Inspect finished cushions for defects, ensuring they meet company standards for quality and craftsmanship.

- Maintenance: Maintain and clean sewing machines and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.

- Material Handling: Properly store and organize fabrics, foams, and other materials to prevent damage.

- Custom Work: Handle custom cushion requests, working closely with designers or clients to meet specific needs.

- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while working with machinery and materials.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in upholstery, sewing, or cushion-making.

- Skills: Proficient in sewing, cutting, and assembling cushion materials.

- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.

- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks.

- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with a variety of fabrics and materials.

- Knowledge of different cushion styles and techniques.

- Familiarity with upholstery tools and equipment.
