Monday - Friday 7 30am - 5pm

Patient Volume

18-20/day

Responsibilities
• Evaluate patients and diagnose various types of cancers, primarily focusing on the application of radiation therapy as a treatment.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, ensuring the highest level of care and safety.
• Operate radiation equipment to deliver prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts in accordance with the treatment plan.
• Collaborate with medical physicists to plan and execute brachytherapy treatments.
• Regularly review and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients, addressing questions and concerns regarding treatment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and coordinate patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in radiation oncology and participate in continuing education activities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.

Qualifications
• Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiation Oncology, with a focus on radiation therapy, brachytherapy, and radiotherapy.
• Excellent knowledge of the latest radiation oncology techniques and technologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
• Valid medical license and ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements.
