We are the leading manufacturer of power electronics products. Today we offer wide range of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) for industrial, commercial & enterprise applications, medium voltage & low voltage variable frequency drives, steel automation and engineered variable frequency drives for customized applications, industrial automation & control products like PLC, SCADA & DCS, grid connected solar inverter, railway inverter and other customised products like UMPS, iDip (dip ride through solutions), etc. We have rich experience in supplying power back-up products & complete customized solutions for mission critical applications in refineries, petro-chemicals, power generation, steel & metal, and process industries as well as critical data processing applications.
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated Production Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in production operations, with a focus on manpower handling, line balancing, implementing Kaizen principles, and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives. As a Production Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality through the implementation of best practices and process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily production activities, including manpower allocation, work scheduling, and resource management, to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Conduct line balancing exercises to optimize workflow and minimize production bottlenecks, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Implement Kaizen principles and CI methodologies to identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction in production operations.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of Kaizen events, Lean projects, and other improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
- Prepare and execute Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans to address production issues and prevent recurrence of quality-related problems.
- Conduct root cause analysis investigations to identify the underlying causes of production failures or quality deviations, implementing corrective actions to address them.
Qualification:
- BE / Diploma Engineer in Power Electronics/ Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical stream
- 1 to 1.5 years of experience in production engineering or manufacturing operations, preferably in a regulated industry (e.g., automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals).
- Strong understanding of production processes, line balancing techniques, and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience in implementing Kaizen events, conducting root cause analysis, and driving CAPA initiatives.
- Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies, such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and Pareto analysis.
