Job description
We are hiring for a new launch D2C Kids lifestyle brand – founded in Bombay, built for the world. For this role, it is necessary to have 4+ years career experience in design for Kidswear Clothing (Aged 2-10 years) and Infants (0-2 years)

KEY RESPONSILIBILITY AREAS
• Research & understanding on target market & existing brands in the relevant category to support GTM strategy
• Develop a moodboard keeping the brand identity & target customer in mind
• Develop and execute a full collection of categories & SKU's (knit and woven)
• Presentation based on Digital Flat Sketches
• Graphic Designing for all over and placement prints/ graphics
• Sourcing for fabrics & trims
• Product development from initial sketch, teckpack & size spec to final product
• Collaborate effectively with cross functional departments within the company and vendors
• Budget Management & Product cost management
• Assist the Branding/Social Media creative agency for product photoshoot/ campaign shoot

CORE COMPETENCE
• Strong understanding of design principles, trends, requirements & functionality for Kidswear.
• Ability to translate creative concepts into real life products
• In depth know how of natural fabric qualities, processes, accessories, technicals on shape and fit, surface developments, prints etc.
• Proficient in graphic and creative design using tools like CorelDRAW, Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
• Knowledge or prior experience in using AI tools like Midjourney and ChatGPT
• Ability to work well independently and in a team
• 4 to 6 years of experience designing for kids
