Job description
Please Note: We are looking for candidates who can join immediately.

Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai

Time: Monday to Saturday, 11:00 am to 7:00pm

Stipend: Rs. 12000 per month

This is a paid internship position.

Job Description -
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions with creative ideas and innovative design concepts.
• Help in sketching designs, creating technical drawings, and producing digital illustrations.
• Conduct research on current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market demands.
• Analyze competitors' products and identify opportunities for design innovation.
• Prepare trend reports and mood boards to guide the design process.
• Assist in sourcing fabrics, trims, and other materials needed for design prototypes.
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain samples and ensure materials meet design specifications.
• Help in the creation of initial design samples, tech packs and prototypes.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure designs are accurately translated into finished products.
• Monitor the production process and help address any design-related issues that arise.
• Prepare and present design concepts to the internal team and stakeholders.
• Document design changes and updates throughout the development process.

Requirements -
• Graduate degree in Fashion Design from leading design institutes
• At least 6 months’ experience in fashion design & development
• Experience with a recognised fashion brand/designer is a plus
• Creative flair and artistic ability
• A good eye for color, texture, fabrics and patterns
• Excellent attention to detail
• An interest in fashion and an understanding of trends and materials
• Design skills and the ability to use computer-aided design (CAD) packages, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator.
