Job description
Innovatia is looking for Senior Instructional Designers. The team designs and develops world class technology and solution training for our customers, partners, and employees. You will be part of development team with SMEs and Technical writers. Your role will be to design training curriculums working closely with technical SMEs. You will also be responsible to develop content and do quality analysis and editing based on guidelines.

Following are some of roles and responsibilities:
• Develops and designs courses and curriculum to match learner’s needs.
• Define and document learning objectives.
• Creates learning experiences and environments.
• Designs learning activities, assignments, and assessments.
• Creates computer-based training (CBT) modules and storyboards.
• Develops instructor’s manuals, rubrics, and other teaching tools.
• Collaborates with subject experts to develop course content.
• Manages online learning communities.
• Analyzes, updates, and refines existing online content.
• Keeps current on best practices in instructional design.
• Conduct research and collaborate with subject experts.
• Writes scripts for video and audio content. Create visual, audio and interactive learning tools

Instructional Designer Qualifications/Skills:
• Knowledge of instructional theory, including assessment.
• Experience working on digital content including designing learning paths for user personas
• Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS). Xyleme is the LCMS used within Cisco. Having experience working in Xyleme will be desired.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients
• Critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines
• Proficiency in video editing tools like Captivate, Camtasia to make learning experience more immersive is desired.
• Open to learning new tools and processes. Understanding of Blooms Taxonomy.
• Experience working in agile development framework will be good.

Must have 5+ years of experience in the field of education as instructional designer.
