Field Service Technician / Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (TBC over the next few weeks)

Field Service Technician

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician to join a successful medical engineering and manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Aylesbury.

The field service technician will be based in the office two days per week (typically Monday and Friday) with the remainder of the time being spent at client sites around the UK - typically hospitals. You will be expected to stay away at home (expensed) during those days.

While in the office you will be involved the assembly, test and repair of the devices, spending more time during the start of your employment as you'll need to learn the equipment. When in the field you will be taking the companies products, running tests and dealing with any quick-fixes if needed. This will all need to be fully documented, and you will be working from a fully equiped, modern, state of the art van.

Background experience in field service on technical hospital equipment is very advantageous. The salary is quite flexible at this stage.

Field Service Technician / Engineer Requirements
• Experience working in a field based engineering role working on technical equipment at hospitals (or similar)
• Test and repair experience
• Good attention to detail and customer facing attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work and stay away from home approx 2/3 days per week (occasionally more if required)
