HGV Class 1 Driver
Pertemps are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work for our well-established distribution client based in Leicester. The role involves the delivery of goods across the UK for one of the UKs leading logistics providers, on site at their customers National DC as well as store deliveries. Occasional nights out paid at premium rate £34.80 per night, tramper drivers will also be considered.
Hours/Rates:
Day shift, starting between 02:00 and 05:00
12 hour + shifts
£16.68 - £20.00 per hour PAYE
Mon to Fri ongoing long term regular work
As an HGV Class 1 Driver your duties will include:
2 - 3 Store Deliveries daily, across the UK
Ensuring accurate and timely collections and deliveries from stores and depots
Conducting thorough vehicle checks each morning
Handball and Pump truck work required at all deliveries

To be considered for this HGV Class 1 role you will need:
Valid HGV Class 1 license
1 year HGV driving experience, Licence held for 1 years
No more than 6 points
To be flexible with availability
DHL assessed driver preffered, however full training/assessment provided for the right candidates
