CLASS 1 DRIVER

Job description
StaffCo Direct is actively recruiting for Class 1 drivers for a company based in Speke.

We are looking for highly motivated qualified day Class 1 driver with valid licenses, who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operation.

Remuneration

Monday to Friday - £18.72(PAYE including holiday pay)

Saturday and Sunday - £21.25 (PAYE including holiday pay)
• Please note that the above rates include optional upfront holiday payment

Responsibilities
• This will involve delivering double decker curtainside trailers nationwide.
• Average 3 drops per shift
• Average 10 hours per shift
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
• Start times between 02:00 - 06:00 (AM)
• Start times between 16:00 - 20:00 ( PM)

Experience/Skills & Competencies
• HGV1/ LGV1 UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 12 months)
• Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
• Experience driving container loaded trailers
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
• 1 assessment day needed
• Great communication skills
• Professional attitude
