Overview:

Ardeta Search is looking for a motivated Management Accountant to join a Private Equity-backed technology group based in Sheffield. This role provides a clear path to FP&A, blending technical accounting expertise, client engagement, and strategic insight. This role is an integral part of the finance team and will also be overseeing two junior members of the team.

The Role:
• Oversee monthly and quarterly income management for multiple global business units.
• Analyse financial data to identify key variances and trends.
• Ensure accurate revenue reporting and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Project Managers, Operations, FP&A, and senior leaders.
• Perform month-end analysis and review contracts.
• Work with FP&A teams to provide accurate financial insights.
• Update and improve revenue recognition and AR policies and procedures.
• Participate in ad hoc projects, including acquisitions and integrations.
• Assist in the preparation of company accounts.
• Manage cashflow.

Requirements:
• Preferably CIMA or ACCA qualified with broad accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong management accounting and balance sheet experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong IT skills with a quick aptitude for learning new systems.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously and drive change.
• High attention to detail with a passion for career development.
