National Asphalt Paving Operations Manager

What you’ll bring to the role:

Minimum of 10 years Asphalt Paving experience with 5+ years in a senior role within the Asphalt industry
Confident in managing complex projects and supporting operations with effective technical solutions.
Proven experience planning and organising to achieve maximum utilisation of plant, labour and materials and ability to apply this on a national scale.
Hands on experience managing financial performance including cost management, monthly reporting and analysis (results / profit & loss)
Proven experience in effective job pricing including materials, labour and plant and associated margin / profit calculations.
Experience developing capability within teams and coaching line leaders.
Relevant Tertiary/Trade Qualifications
A high level of knowledge and commitment to operational health and safety best practice
Knowledge of NZ Asphalt Specifications and compliance
Technical knowledge of Asphalt Design to work alongside the Higgins Technical Team
Knowledge around Asphalt Plant/Production.
