MCS Group is currently working alongside a market leader in waste management and resource recovery solutions to recruit a Field Sales Representative.

Operating in 30 facilities across the UK and Ireland, and employing over 1,500 people, the organisation creates valuable products for conversion or re-use in manufacturing as well as providing a complete water treatment and odour portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating opportunities relating to the management and recovery of hazardous waste and providing industrial services within Northern Ireland. The role includes identifying new prospects and opportunities, delivering sales, and liaising with existing clients.

Core Responsibilities:
• Meeting sales targets through the successful closure of leads and opportunities within the pipeline.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with new leads and existing customers via field sales activity.
• Preparing responses to customer's requests for information and requests for quotations in a timely fashion.
• Resolving problems and handling complaints in an efficient and professional manner.
• Actively documenting & maintaining accurate client records, prospecting, sales activities, and site visits using a CRM system.
• Dealing with the administration of sales enquiries for the division and managing these appropriately, preparing regular reports of progress and forecasts.
• Serving as a link of communication between key customers and internal teams, liaising with operations and other stakeholders to ensure an excellent level of customer service.
• Completing weekly updates on sales performance through CRM.
• Carrying out all aspects of your role in a safe and compliant manner, with the HSE requirements of sales and projects at the forefront, in line with company procedures.
• Keeping up to date with market changes and competitor activity while delivering sales initiatives and campaigns.

Essential Criteria:
• Proven B2B field sales experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build lasting and profitable relationships.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Full, clean Driving Licence.
