Back Office Medical Assistant|TRIAGE

Our healthcare clinic is looking for a passionate and energetic Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate has previous experience performing triage tasks, such as greeting patients in the back office, taking vitals signs, reconciling medications, and recording past medical history. We are seeking a professional Medical Assistant who can help support the overall operations of the clinic and who is able to prioritize patients' needs above their own when necessary.

Responsibilities:
• Display knowledge of medical terminology.
• Use basic computer programs to record patient information.
• Greet patients and family members.
• Triage
• Take patient vital signs.
• Update patient files, i.e. reconciling medications, recording past medical history.
• Communicate with patients regarding their appointments and treatment plans.
• Fast paced environment, often rooming 30 pts a day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
