This recruitment is to recruit for a Personnel Officer 1 underfilling for a Personnel Officer 2
The selected candidate for this position will manage the central Human Resource (HR) office located in Carson City, supervising programs and bureaus dedicated to public health and regulatory services of the Division of Public and Behavioral Health, while also actively participating as a member of the division's statewide HR team
The incumbent will function independently with minimal oversight in the daily operation of Human Resources, managing 7 full time HR and Payroll positions
General functions include, but not limited to, providing consult and assistance to managers and HR Analyst in areas of talent acquisition, performance management, progressive discipline, grievances, complaints, leave usage and accountability

The Position
