Job Title: Design Manager

Location: Bavdhan, Pune

Qualification: Bachelors in Mechanical/Electrical

Experience: 12 Years - 17 Years

Relevant Experience: Air Pollution Control Equipment industry, Special Purpose Machinery, Material Handling Equipment industry, Turnkey project industry.

Compensation: 12 -16 LPA

Job Responsibilities:
• Leadership: Guide and manage designers to ensure effective performance.
• Project Management: Organize and prioritize design tasks to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
• Design Direction: Provide creative guidance to align designs with brand identity.
• Collaboration: Work with other departments to understand and meet project requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Review designs to ensure they meet quality standards and objectives.
• Problem Solving: Address design challenges with innovative solutions.
• Client Management: Build and maintain relationships, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on design trends and foster team learning.
• Budget Management: Manage resources efficiently to optimize project outcomes.
• Communication: Convey design concepts and strategies to stakeholders.

Key Skills:
• Comprehensive understanding of design principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with relevant industry trends and technologies.
• Modern ERP Systems, Part Database, Folder, and File management structure (DMS)
• Knowledge of various engineering software – STAAD, Plant 3D, SolidEdge, PVElite, CAESAR, Ansys CFD
• Engineering Codes: ASME, Boiler standards, IS etc.
• Engineering calculations basics: Pressure, Flow, Volume, Temperature, Conveying etc. and unit conversions
